Before our cats and kittens are homed, they are checked by qualified veterinary surgeons, neutered if old enough, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms. We take in cats of all ages and it is not our policy to put elderly or disabled animals to sleep.
Our cats are fostered in individual private homes, we do not have a central adoption centre. They are looked after by our fosterers until a suitable new home can be found. We therefore complete home visits before potential adopters view our cats. This is so we can ensure that the potential adopter only needs to visit those cats which are suitable for the homes they are offering.
We also look after a number of feral colonies in Haverhill and surrounding areas. The main areas we cover are Haverhill, Great Wratting, Withersfield, the Thurlows, Kedington, Hundon, Barnardiston, Glemsford, Cavendish, Clare, Sturmer, Steeple Bumpstead, Yeldham, Finchingfield and Sible Hedingham but occasionally go further afield.
